YourKnow began in a basement where 3 brothers and their cousin were hanging out, listening to music and musing the world’s problems. They began to ponder the challenges of creating music by artists around the world.  It became clear very quickly that there were no tools available for song-writers to get together and write lyrics. There had to be a better way.   They deliberated over this for months and decided to act. The original concept grew from song-writing to broader writings and then access to reading and collaborating. They wanted to create a solution that was easy to use, easy to share and free for all.    Several years later, and out of those discussions, YourKnow was born. A social productivity platform available to all, where users can simply create a group, invite their friends, collaborate, and share writings and knowledge.   There are many intuitive uses for YourKnow. Students can work on group projects, read textbooks, collaborate and turn in assignments.  Song-writers will be able to virtually compose their works with collaborators in multiple locations. Researchers and hobbyists can create and share compilations and publish them for all to enjoy.  As YourKnow evolves, our vision is to cultivate minds and enable global thought and discussion; where knowledge and education will finally become available to all, regardless of culture and socio-economic status.
